"Initial contact and assessment of the client was very positive and it was clear that a suitable care package could be provided, tailored to need but also flexible if the level of care needed to be increased. After the first period of care at home, with sensitive and professional carers, there followed a few weeks in a care home because more intensive support was needed. The client returned to their own home, initially with full-time care; again the carer was excellent and provided just the right support. The care need diminished so it was reduced to twice daily visits, then once a day and finally no care. The daily carers were slightly more variable than the full-time carers. The client is now managing very well on their own without support."
